Sixty-five families from Bethany United Methodist Church, Gloucester Point, donated over 2,000 pounds of items that were distributed to the Salvation Army, Laurel Shelter, Union Baptist Church food pantry, G.U.E.S.T. (Gloucester United Emergency Shelter Team) program, and Bread for Life. Reverse advent calendar bags were distributed to church members prior to the beginning of December.
